My Little City Blog

Nights and days pass in Gotham. Each area is distinct and posing its own reality…coffee shop, pizza parlor, and dry cleaners…all the same but different…in that they create many different realities. This blog is my reality.

Photo Dump

Of course there has to be a picture of Rey "El Rey" Contreras in this picture dump. A good shot of Rey and Alina with her new cool hairdo.

This picture is for Derek over at poker in the weeds. Viva Hulkamaniacs!! On a side note, was there anyone bigger than the Hulkster back in the 80's? How many athletes can say they could sell out a whole Stadium night after night with everyone wearing his/her shirt? Serious?

Although it says that one shouldn't ride between the cars...well I would have to disagree in three instances. One, there you get caught in a car with no air conditioning (which should never happen because you should take note that there is nobody in the car) this happens from time to time and you should move to the next car. Two, you get stuck in a car with a homeless guy who has passed out and done his business in that car. Three, you had a long night with the boys/girls and you get sick on the ride and need to hurl.

This is a classic picture that most people take when they are in Grand Central. Most people will say, I will meet you at the clock in Grand Central and it is understood that this is the clock....there is another clock which is similar which is downstairs but this is the one that people mean.

This picture is just something I took at the crab festival that John "The General" Lee and myself went to in Long Island City. It was a good time and the crabs were tasty.

Took this picture in the .99 cent store in Chinatown.

Rey "El Rey" Contreras and I went to have Sushi and this was our beer of choice. Hey, you can't go wrong at a Sushi place that has 1/2 price off all drinks or two for one...Sweet!!

This is a picture of Rey "El Rey" Contreras who took a picture with Flo who was in from Italy. Twas good times hanging with Flo during her visit.

A painting of "The Boys"...Nuff said!

A picture of "Poncho" The Texas Armadillo! There are a few things you should know about Poncho. First, that he really was bought in Texas by Adri and it was given to me as a gift. Second, Poncho really is Catholic as his chain indicates. Three, Poncho will surprise you in many ways...if you come back to this blog again you will see why.

I never thought I would see the day...but the N&R (which I say stands for Never Runs) have new trains. Thus, I took a picture for all to see.
