There is more madness
If you looked over my last post you noticed that the cabbie told you there would be more pictures and madness, so here you go.
The first picture is of Presidente Beer. I like the taste of the beer and it is one of the most under-rated beers in America...but it is from the D.R. I believe. Then there is the Mojito which Shep spoke about as the next big drink...this was taken at Calle Ocho and notice the stick of sugar cane in the drink, nice touch and good to naw on after tons of drinks. Last is a picture taken at my favorite German bar, Lorelei. I like this smooth tasting beer known as Gaffel.
Here are some of my friends that I thought I would post pictures of. The one in the red is an L.A. Girl and then there is Lupe who is from San Antonio. Both were in visiting for the week.
What can I say, these are the people who take care of me behind the bar. Good folks I say for putting up with me when I start yelling for drinks and who don't take me serious when I say shots for the house.
My art picture for the day and this was taken at 43rd and Sixth when I was getting ready to hit Jimmy's corner for a beer.
Pinky was kind enough to bring me to her friends Rishi and Reena's wedding. They met in the same program that took Pinky away from the states for a year and placed her in India for work...I think it was called IAF. In any case, good times and those Indians know how to party.
Of course there is Rey at Barcelona with his friends from work.
Every year Pinky takes me to the U.S. Open to try and get me some culture. Errr...I'm not sure it has worked to be honest, but I always thank her for the effort. Thanks Pinky!
In closing, that is a quick flash. I would post more but I don't want to bore yout too much. Hit my Poker Blog or my Food Blog for more stories.
