My Little City Blog

Nights and days pass in Gotham. Each area is distinct and posing its own reality…coffee shop, pizza parlor, and dry cleaners…all the same but different…in that they create many different realities. This blog is my reality.

Other Pictures

I can't put into words what a visit from my little cousin, Little Sarah (AKA The Baby) meant to me. To say that it made my year would be an understatement. To have family visit is always a joy but to have the "Little Saucey" one in NYC...well you know it is going to be a good time and some funny stories will transpire. Of course pictures won't do the visit justice and many moments were missed by my camera. Yet, I hope through the pictures you will get the fun and excitement I had by have The Baby here for a week.

Sarah gets off the plane and of course the night is already in full swing. We go have some pizza at the newest NYC pizza joint that people are saying will be a long stay. Pizza was good and you can see John "The General" Lee in the background.

Of course to many this will be just another picture in front of Tom's. The place made famous by Seinfeld, but I didn't know this was Sarah's favorite TV show of all time so that made the visit rather special.

We made it down to little Italy and took a picture in front of one of my favorite cheese houses in NYC. The stuff they get here is sent straight from Italy...as I like to say, it doesn't get any realer than this. CHURCH!

This was The Baby and Myself on the town. So she got the better of the genes but damn we both look good...wink!

This last picture is of The Baby with the local bartender at our favorite dive bar in the hood.

I liked this picture because it was of some of NYC finest hip hopers who have yet to be signed to a label as of yet. But when they blow The Baby can say she knew them when. I guess I should also tell you that we saw Fabulous the rapper at Macy's.

This picture has a lot of meaning. Of course Rey would never be caught dead with this shirt and his powersuit jacket. But he put it on to be a sport and this will forever be known as the powersuit picture.

What can you say, The Baby and Moon who was kind enough to read her palm for her. Although he said she needed some more years for her lines to be a bit more defined he did a good job in his reading. She's a Ramirez so this will equal a long life.

We were walking by the musical Hairspray and this guy came out the side door for some air. They were about to start the show but he was kind enough to take a quick picture with The Baby.

This is another picture of John "The General" Lee with The Baby but I think we were at a bar here.

This was probably my favorite picture of the week. Nuff said. For more photos of our weekend you can click here

Here is a picture of the group I call the, A-Listers. This is before we ate at The Palm for Pauly Drama's new gig that never happend. In any case, I wrote about that before but here is what a group of A-Listers looks like before a good dinner on the town.

Picture at Florencia 13 for dinner and Danny's family in town. I figure I will throw in a picture of the owner's son, L-Dog. Good times had by all this night.

Two random girls on the city...I think these girls went to some second-tier graduate school call Wharton for their MBA.

This is the Acosta family chillin in the NYC.

Juanito y Danni just chillin at F13. Needless to say these were the last sober pictures I have of everyone.

Picture of Claire and Danny's mother. Good times when two old friends get together.

This is a picture of everyone together. A few people didn't jump into the picture but they were on the side.

A little family toast to everyone who joined us that night.

Of course we were here for Mama and Papa Acosta's aniversary.

But we were also here for my main man, J-Dog. Good times and keep an eye on this kid, he will be going places in his life.
